Building on the success of Wallabies+ in 2025 and in Term 1 & Term 2 2026, Pathways + aims to provide both Wallabies and Kangaroos players an extra weekly session focused purely on individual skills and long‑term player pathways. It provides a six‑week training block model that focus on the development of individual technique and complements regular team training.

Pathways+ expands the original concept to support Kangaroos players while continuing to serve our Wallabies community and strengthening the connection between community football and Olympic FC’s academy pathway. The program offers an additional weekly training option on top of normal team sessions and is designed for players and teams who want more contact time on the ball, a sharper focus on individual skills and an enhanced progression route within the club.

Sessions run in six‑week blocks at Goodwin Park, with each block providing one extra 60‑minute session per week led by high‑quality coaches who are experienced in youth development.

Every Pathways+ session targets Football Queensland’s four core skill areas: 1v1 defending, passing and receiving, dribbling and finishing, so players gain repeated, game‑relevant touches in the moments that matter most. Weekly topics are aligned with what is being delivered in the Olympic FC Junior Academy during the same week, allowing players to experience a consistent, club‑wide curriculum and a clearer, more connected pathway towards higher‑level academy programs.

Pathways+ is open to both boys and girls in our Wallabies and Kangaroos programs, and whole teams are welcome to register together if they want to share an extra weekly session and build stronger on‑field connections. The program is ideal for motivated players who want to sharpen their core technique and build confidence. (Also for external players at Kangaroo level from other club's)

Each six‑week Pathways+ block costs $125, which equates to $25 per session and reflects Olympic FC’s commitment to providing affordable, high‑quality development opportunities for community juniors.
