Get ready for more action! Olympic FC is thrilled to invite players aged 6 to 13 to jump back into the excitement as our popular 5-a-side post season competition continues!

This competition is designed to extend the playing season for young Footballers, providing them with more opportunities to develop their skills and enjoy playing football in a social setting with friends even after the regular season has ended.

Key Details: Age Groups: Each age group will have its own competition. However, age groups and gender may be combined if there are not enough registered players in a specific group.

Rounds: Every age group will play at least 7 competition rounds, depending on team rank includes 1 week of finals.
Team Composition: Teams will consist of up to 8 players. Teams can be all male, mixed or all girls. All girl teams have the option to play a year level down or we can organise a separate girls' competition if there are enough participants.

Finals: The grand final will be contested between the teams finishing first and second, as well as third and fourth after 7 competition rounds. Depending on the number of teams, there may also be a B division final for teams finishing fifth to eighth. All teams in the grand finals will receive medallions. Teams that do not make or drop out of the finals will have games organised for them during the finals weeks to ensure everyone continues to play and have fun.

Registration: Players can register as individuals or as part of a nominated team.

Schedule: The competition will start on Thursday October 15 2026 and runs for 8 weeks.

Game Duration: 30 minutes, with a 2 minute halftime interval.

Game Times:
4:30 PM to 5:00 PM: U6 and U7
5:10 PM to 5:40 PM: U8 and U9
5:50 PM to 6:20 PM: U10 and U11
6:30 PM to 7:00 PM: U12 and U13

Note: Game times may be adjusted based on the number of registrations.
Rules: The competition will follow standard 5-a-side/Futsal rules with minor modifications.

Olympic FC FAST FIVES Post-Season Tournament Rules

Team Composition and Substitutions
* Team Size: Each registered team will have a maximum of 8 players.
* On-Field Players: Only 5 players from each team can be on the field at a time.
* Substitutions: Substitutions can be made at any time during the game.
* There is a minimum of 3 players to take the field, if a team is short of players on game day and cannot field a full team before kick-off, they will need to forfeit the match with a 3–0 result awarded to the opposition.
If the opposing team agrees to lend some of their players so a friendly game can still be played, that’s perfectly fine. Otherwise, the match will not go ahead.

Game Duration and Intervals
* Game Length: Games will last 30 minutes.
* Halves: Each half will be 15 minutes.
* Half-Time: A 2 minute half-time break will be observed.

Discipline and Penalties
* Yellow Cards: Players receiving a yellow card will leave the field for 3 minutes.
* Red Cards: Players receiving a red card will miss the next competition game.
* Two Yellow Cards: A player receiving two yellow cards will be shown a red card and dismissed from the game, missing the next competition match.

Out of Play and Goal Scoring
* Out of Play: Balls going out of play will be restarted with a kick in, except for goal kicks and corners. There are no corners for the U6/U7 teams.
* Goal Scoring: Players cannot score from within the goal box and cannot defend the goal within the goal box. Goals scored from within the goal box will be disallowed and the opposition will take a goal kick. This rule does not apply to U6/U7 teams.
* Players cannot score from their own half.

Goalkeepers and Penalties
* No Goalkeepers: Players who stop a goal bound shot within the goal box will result in a penalty shot for the opposition.
* Penalty Spot: The penalty spot is 5 meters from the goal.

Additional Rules
* All other standard football rules apply.
